J's Bed and Breakfast is owned by George (Snooky) & Jeela Larocque, as of April 27, 2007. Snooky was born and raised in Fort Resolution & Jeela is originally from Pangnirtung Nunavut. Jeela & Snooky have three boys; Kevin, Jay and Edward.

The population of Fort Resolution is 450-500 people and the languages are Chipewyan and English. Fort Resolution has a Roman Catholic Church, North Mart and Stan's Quick Stop. The community is run by Akaitcho Territory Government, Deninu Ku'e First Nation and Fort Resolution Métis Council.

Today, Fort Resolution is a base for Sport fishing adventures and explorations on the Great Slave Lake with abundant natural forests and close to world class fishing and hunting. Enjoy the amazing wildlife including Buffalo, black/brown bears, fox and many other types of wildlife. Witness the spectacular display of the Aurora Borealis.
